Learner is the sole owner of the learning process

Learner is naturally curious and is innately driven to learn

Learner is more likely to engage the learning process when he / she finds it safe, significant, and fun

Learning Ecology

The learning environment must offer students opprtunities to receive learning through methods and models that best support their needs, interests, and personal situations.

Substantial control on the learning experience must be given to the student

The learning facilitator is tasked to ensure delivery of the desired information and learning events

The overall learning experience must ensure the learner's opprtunity to acquaint himself / herself to higher learning domain (deep learning)
